Injection moulding for healthcare is what Knudsen Plast has worked with for the past 40 years.
With factories in Denmark (4,000m2) and Slovakia (11,000m2), we can take over your existing production in clean environments or build up a production line that suits your needs for high-quality injection moulded components for medical devices.
We work mainly with Danish toolmakers in order to develop the injection moulding tools that will produce parts with the expected quality and cost price.
We work according to an ISO 13485:2016 certified quality system and the injection molding processes are validated prior to being released for production. Auxiliary processes encompass ultrasound and laser welding, gluing, part decoration and Multivac® packaging.
We perform quality control in our own laboratory, where we, among others, have 3D scanning measurement methods.
After the production process is fully developed and documented, our supply chain team coordinate the entire streamlined production and make sure to establish a reliable and proactive supply chain, which works as an integral part of the customers' value chain.
With 70 injection-moulding machines on two production sites, Knudsen Plast can provide a reliable supply chain for plastic components throughout Europe.
