The production of CNC-machined components for medical equipment places the highest demands on materials as well as on state-of-the-art-machinery and process know-how. Our highly qualified staff (350 employees in 2017) are experts in conjunction of raw material specifications, and process know-how for CNC machining of medical components. A sound knowledge of the specific properties of the material used and taking these properties into account in the manufacturing process are the most important prerequisites for the production of high-end components in different dimensions, shapes, tolerances, and complex geometries. Klingel medical metal manufactures on 11,000-square metre shop floor space utilising more than 100 CNC-turning machines, around 70 CNC-milling machines and several CNC-machining centres for mill-turn applications up to 9 axes. Additionally, six wire eroding machines and one sink eroding machine as well as special testing/measuring machines and laser systems are in use and we continually invest in technical upgrades.

Specialised in dental and orthopaedic implants, we produce on state-of-the-art machinery and process high-grade metals with low machinability, such as titanium and stainless steel. These materials combined with our processing chain guarantee a highly resistant, robust, clean and hygienic surface of all parts.

We make bone plates and pins, screws and spinal implants for use in orthopaedic surgery, as well as dental implants and their abutments and instruments.

Highly sensitive areas in spinal surgery call for absolutely accurate work. We have made a name for ourselves for the excellence of our medical metal machining technology and we meet even the most exacting standards with our high-precision, burr-free implants for the spine. Klingel medical metal produces interbody fusion cages (spine cages), fixators and pedicle screws, including the cannulated variety, for some well-known manufacturers.

When it comes to the production of microparts for pacemakers and cardiovascular systems, we guarantee permanently controlled quality and process reliability thanks to our zero-error strategy.

Endoscopes and robotics

Our technically and esthetically excellent products and components are used successfully both in standard solutions, for example in minimally invasive surgery, and also in highly complex surgical robots, such as those used in Da Vinci Surgical Systems, for instance. The products and components for this segment feature high precision and an immaculate surface finish.

Operating tables

Klingel medical metal is constantly extending its range of technical equipment and machinery, making it possible to supply products and components for large medical appliances. For the manufacturers of operating tables, we produce precision components in stainless steel and aluminium in dimensions of up to 800 x 500 x 800 mm. Our standard services in this area include the joining of different parts and the mounting of assemblies.

Dialysis machines and ventilators

Dialysis machines and ventilators preserve life and enhance quality of life. Maximum reliability when it comes to quality and cleanliness are the basic prerequisites for a supplier of metal products and components for the manufacture of medical devices. Klingel medical metal makes the most of its cutting-edge production technologies and long years of experience with products for all kind of medical devices; this is to develop innovations and optimise existing techniques in collaboration with their customers.
