US-based life science technology company Proteintech Genomics has launched its MultiPro Human Discovery Panel to advance single-cell multi-omics research.
The new antibody panel is designed to help scientists profile 325 proteins alongside whole transcriptome analysis within single cells.
According to the company, the MultiPro Human Discovery Panel provides a multi-omic approach that delivers deep insights into cellular functions.
Proteintech Genomics CEO Kit Nazor said: “As we continue to push the boundaries of cellular analysis, the MultiPro Human Discovery Panel provides an unprecedented opportunity for researchers to explore cellular functions in greater depth and clarity than ever, while offering cost-efficiency that is unparalleled in the market.”
Proteintech developed the MultiPro Human Discovery Panel using Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression Flex chemistry with Feature Barcode technology from 10x Genomics.
The panel allows researchers to explore proteins located both within the intracellular compartments and on the surface of cells.
MultiPro Human Discovery Panel comes with 346 antibodies against 325 distinct proteins, with two-thirds of the protein targets being intracellular, and the remaining third on the cell surface.
The panel covers important cellular components, including transcription factors, cytokines, signalling proteins, and phospho-epitopes.
Proteintech said its MultiPro Human Discovery Panel enables protein profiling at a cost less than half of its rivals, making multi-omic analysis more accessible for researchers.
10x Genomics Biology VP Peter Smibert said: “Simultaneous profiling of the whole transcriptome via the Chromium Flex assay and hundreds of proteins spanning surface markers, intracellular targets including transcription factors, and even phospho-epitopes via the MultiPro panel is a huge step forward for deep, multi-omic phenotypic characterisation of single cells at a massive scale.”
