FUJIFILM Healthcare Europe has launched an update for the DeepInsight ultrasound solution to support early diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up management.

The new-generation ultrasound technology is designed to provide clinicians and radiology specialists with detailed imaging information and the ability to deliver enhanced scanning.

The AI-powered solution enhances contrast and spatial resolution to improve diagnostic accuracy and scanning efficiencies for healthcare professionals and patients.

FUJIFILM said the new version of DeepInsight provides clear imaging results while helping radiology departments deliver superior patient experience.

Also, it allows healthcare professionals to use its patented high-powered probe, featuring Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasound Transducers (CMUT) Silicon Wafer Technology.

Updated DeepInsight will enhance the quality and accuracy of imaging results across a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including a wider frequency bandwidth of 22-2 MHz.

FUJIFILM Healthcare Europe European ultrasound product manager Anne-Laure Jet said: “Pursuing the development of user-friendly solutions, FUJIFILM Healthcare Europe offers the next stage in diagnostic technology with our latest update of DeepInsight.

“Whatever the clinical challenge, our innovative AI-based solution, with new beamforming technology, has the flexibility to meet challenging expectations throughout the patient journey, from diagnosis to treatment support and follow-up management, for the benefit of the patient.

“Our new AI-based system* has been developed using deep learning, to exceed user requirements and contribute to healthcare development and patient wellbeing.”

According to FUJIFILM, the updated DeepInsight ultrasound solution provides enhanced image quality by emphasising tissue structures with a rich gradation.

Its complex beamforming technology improves the visibility of complex tissue structures.

Also, the advanced technology provides clinicians with more in-depth information and improved clinical decision-making in the diagnosis-to-treatment process.

The new technology optimises the scanning experience and enhances imaging accuracy.

It allows imaging specialists to deliver detection and examination services for patients in less time, contributing to early diagnosis and improved patient outcomes, said FUJIFILM.

FUJIFILM Healthcare Europe ultrasound systems European marketing manager Maria Paola Aquilone said: “We are excited to introduce our latest ultrasound technology, which delivers a deeper imaging clarity and precision, empowering healthcare professionals to support more accurate diagnoses and enhance patient care.”
