US-based healthcare technology firms Enlitic and GE HealthCare have partnered to advance medical imaging data migration and cloud solutions.

The collaboration will use GE HealthCare’s expertise in digital transformation and Enlitic’s AI-driven automation and data refinement capabilities to improve healthcare data management.

Enlitic will leverage its Ensight Suite, which embeds AI and data intelligence into migration tools for GE HealthCare’s cloud and on-premises transitions.

The integration aims to simplify the migration process, enhance data quality, and improve accessibility and efficiency for healthcare providers.

Also, it will create an end-to-end migration process that carefully curates, structures, and optimises imaging data and helps providers address growing analytical and workflow needs.

Enlitic CEO Michael Sistenich said: “This partnership shifts how healthcare institutions approach data. We’re moving beyond conventional migrations, enabling providers to move to the cloud with confidence.

“By leveraging AI and automation, we’re setting a new standard in enterprise imaging that transforms data into a strategic asset.”

The partnership aims to help healthcare providers worldwide to enhance their operations and care decision capabilities, using AI-based technology.

It will allow Laitek’s data migration technology to advance transitions to GE HealthCare’s latest Enterprise Imaging solutions, such as Datalogue and True PACS.

The approach will ensure minimal disruption and faster time-to-value for healthcare organisations, enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making processes.

The collaboration will provide a scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud migration framework, which handles large volumes of imaging data.

The framework would minimise disruption and facilitate high-quality data management.

Enlitic’s platform enables easy standardisation, and interoperability across different imaging platforms, in line with global regulations.

In addition to data transfer, AI-powered automation tools clean, curate, and enhance imaging transitions

Furthermore, Enlitic-powered Migratek uses a high-performance migration engine capable of processing large-scale imaging workloads while maintaining continuous clinical operations.

GE HealthCare enterprise imaging solutions CEO Scott Miller said: “Our collaboration with Enlitic isn’t just about efficiency, it’s about revolutionising how healthcare providers access, analyse, and act on their data.

“We’re bridging the gap between legacy systems and the future of AI-powered healthcare, ensuring our customers are always ahead of the curve.”

Last month, GE HealthCare and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) department of radiology and biomedical imaging launched a joint research collaboration. The research collaboration, Care Innovation Hub, aims to address challenges in imaging, neurological and neurodegenerative disease, and precision oncology.
