Dimension Ortho and Rothman Orthopaedics have announced a partnership aimed at transforming orthotic care through advanced 3D printing technology.

This collaboration will see Rothman Orthopaedics integrating Dimension Ortho’s innovative platform for personalised bracing and fracture care across its clinical locations, aiming to enhance patient outcomes significantly.

Dimension Ortho president and co-founder Michael Rivlin said: “Our goal is to provide more streamlined and patient-centric, comfortable recovery.

“Dimension Ortho’s partnership with Rothman Orthopaedics will allow thousands of patients to experience minimal disruption to daily activity and accelerated recovery from both acute and chronic injuries.”

The integration will see Dimension Ortho’s modular production system being employed across various treatment settings such as outpatient clinics, urgent care centres, hospital systems, and orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) sites. This system is designed to offer a more sophisticated alternative to conventional orthotic devices.

Rothman Orthopaedics president Alexander Vaccaro said: “Our partnership with Dimension Ortho reflects Rothman’s ongoing commitment to innovation and elevating patient care. This is something patients want and need in an environment of time constraints and rising healthcare costs.”

Dimension Ortho is said to have built a multidisciplinary team comprising surgeons, therapists, engineers, and researchers focused on reshaping the standard of care in medical devices. With over 200 years of collective clinical expertise, the firm has developed an orthotic platform aimed at improving patient comfort and clinical efficiency by eliminating the need for recasting.

Rothman Orthopaedics operates across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida and is engaged in delivering musculoskeletal care grounded in evidence-based medicine. With 32 office locations and surgical privileges at over 70 facilities, it specialises in ten orthopaedic areas including sports medicine and trauma care.
