Aptar Pharma, a division of AptarGroup, has forged a partnership with French biotech firm Dianosic to advance the latter’s active resorbable intranasal scaffold (ARIS) platform.
Dianosic’s bioresorbable intranasal insert targets delivering treatments for chronic allergic rhinitis (CAR) and chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS).
The company’s ‘insert and forget’ technology is said to improve patient adherence and quality of life, and deliver efficacy, safety and ease-of-use.
Its collaboration with Aptar Pharma aims to improve local drug delivery over extended periods, addressing significant unmet medical needs.
Also, it helps explore new nose-to-brain therapeutic applications, particularly in neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases.
Aptar Pharma will invest in Dianosic and join its strategic committee, enhancing the platform with its nasal delivery expertise and promoting it to its global clientele.
By combining Dianosic’s novel innovations with Aptar Pharma’s experience in nasal drug delivery, the initiative helps explore nose-to-brain drug delivery.

Founded in Strasbourg, France, Dianosic focuses on transforming treatments for chronic respiratory and central nervous system diseases.
Its resorbable polymer inserts facilitate controlled, extended drug release within the nasal cavity, enabling swift patient recovery and improved physician experiences.
Aptar Pharma provides drug and consumer product delivery technologies.
The company employs over 13,000 people across 20 countries, serving the pharmaceutical, beauty, food, beverage, personal care, and home care sectors.
