The production of CNC-machined components for medical equipment places the highest demands on materials as well as on state-of-the-art-machinery and process know-how. Our highly qualified staff (350 employees in 2017) are experts in conjunction of raw material specifications, and process know-how for CNC machining of medical components. A sound knowledge of the specific properties of the material used and taking these properties into account in the manufacturing process are the most important prerequisites for the production of high-end components in different dimensions, shapes, tolerances, and complex geometries. Klingel medical metal manufactures on 11,000-square metre shop floor space utilising more than 100 CNC-turning machines, around 70 CNC-milling machines and several CNC-machining centres for mill-turn applications up to 9 axes. Additionally, six wire eroding machines and one sink eroding machine as well as special testing/measuring machines and laser systems are in use and we continually invest in technical upgrades.
Specialised in dental and orthopaedic implants, we produce on state-of-the-art machinery and process high-grade metals with low machinability, such as titanium and stainless steel. These materials combined with our processing chain guarantee a highly resistant, robust, clean and hygienic surface of all parts.

Highly sensitive areas in spinal surgery call for absolutely accurate work. Klingel medical metal produces interbody fusion cages (spine cages), fixators and pedicle screws, including the cannulated variety, for some well-known manufacturers.

For the manufacturers of operating tables, we produce precision components in stainless steel and aluminium in dimensions of up to 800 x 500 x 800 mm.
