CIM med - Lifting standards in medical mounts

CIM med® develops, manufactures and sells medical grade mounting systems for medical devices such as patient monitors, anesthesia units and PACS systems. It is the first company in the world to offer a patented cable integrated mounting (CIM) solution. With its specialised solutions for modern hospitals and medical or dental practices, CIM med acts as a partner for manufacturers of med-tech (OEM), distributors and health facilities around the world. In addition to compatible standard systems, the company can offer OEMs tailor-made solutions for their products. CIM med also supports health facilities like hospitals in their project engineering by finely calibrating the mounting systems to on-site conditions.

Since 2007, CIM med GmbH has provided its international partners with solutions and know-how in the field of mounting systems for medical technology. The OEM supplier has evolved very rapidly. More and more companies have chosen the CIM med mounting systems with integrated cable management. This has resulted in a sharp increase in staff from four at the start to almost 50 currently. The company supplies customers from all over the world, mostly from Europe, the US, the Middle East and the Far East.

CIM med carrier arms for medical devices have become standard in many areas. Leading manufacturers and medical facilities use these solutions to connect monitors and data systems to ceiling mounts and wall tracks, as well as for mobile systems, trolleys and anesthesia units. Mounts by CIM med are found in a wide range of well-known institutions, including the hospital at Duke University, US, the Royal London Hospital, the Kitasato University Clinic in Tokyo and the Klinikum rechts der Isar in Munich. They ensure ergonomic clean and safe conditions in operating suites and patient rooms.

CIM med is an ISO-certified company and regularly audited by OEMs. They also bear the CE mark, comply with the European Medical Directive MDD 93/ 42 ECC and conform with the regulations EN 6061-1, 3rd Edition.

Articulated height adjustable arm for high mounting positions

If a larger distance is required between the mounting point of the carrier arm and the monitor, then this carrier arm is the perfect solution. The height adjustable arm for high mounting positions allows ergonomic operation of bottom-mounted patient monitors. For this reason, the height-adjustable part of the carrier arm was affixed to the lower part of the extension. The solution can be pivoted 360°. This version lets staff change the cabling easily if need be.

Monitor holder for long spring arms

The CIM med monitor holder for long spring arms and ceiling mounts can securely carry LCD screens up to 32in. The system features integrated cable management. Screens can be pivoted vertically or horizontally owing to a spring-supported swivel bearing with a Vesa interface on the back. A special spring support also allows even heavy devices to be smoothly and safely titled forward. A bow handle of powder-coated aluminum is used to adjust the position of the monitor. CIM med® mounts come in two variants: the single version is for one screen, the dual for two monitors.
