Corrosion resistance has been a core competence of Sintex a/s for decades. Supplying industries such as medico, automotive, and pump and motors - and in countless applications - we have heard just about all demands in regards to wear and corrosion. For example, Sintex's largest customer demands that metal injection moulding (MIM) components be submerged in 80°C hot water for ten years without any visible corrosion.
Sintex aims to exceed standards within corrosion resistance and continuously work on supplying corrosion resistance AND mechanical properties in one part. The best of two worlds.
Sintex was established in 1997 after a decade of research within the area. The focus has been corrosion-resistant powder metallurgy since the very beginning. Traditional PM components, MIM components and corrosion-protected permanent magnetic systems. Everything within the world of stainless steel.
Innovation has also been a focus area since the very beginning. So much that the innovative mindset has become a fundamental element of Sintex. We are always looking to renew ourselves, and to create enhanced and optimized solutions together with our partners.
Another key element in our way of thinking is sustainability. This can come in the form of the developers' focus on the reuse of product materials; the development of new, more environmentally friendly material qualities; the development of new, more efficient and energy-saving systems; enhancement of existing production processes, etc.
At Sintex, we are experts in understanding the fields of activity of our technology partners and as your competence centre we are always eager to enter into open collaboration in order to optimise elements such as product, material, know-how, processes and production. We aim to boost your development by contributing to a quantum leap in terms of technology!
